I put on my bike jersey at school and a 5 year old boy says, "Mrs. Jena, why do you smell like hockey gear?" I reply, "I haven't washed my jersey, that's why!"
Kid: "Are your bike tires filled with air, or rubber?"
Me: "...both"
Kid: "I can tell you are a good biker!"
Me: "Why is that?"
Kid: "Because you have a cooool helmet! Annnnd you worked at a bike shop...annnnd you can pump up a tire!"
Kid: "How do you do that???!!!"
Me: "Do what?"
Kid: "Drink your water bottle while riding a bike!!!"
Pedaling up a steep hill with 2 boys, aged 6 and 8 and one says, "How does your BIKE do that?!"
Kid: "I'm using my 5th gear, see, it shows me here...how come yours doesn't have numbers? How do you know what gear you are in?"
Me: "Well, I just feel it."
Kid: "Did you see that guy?! He wasn't holding any HANDLES!"
